Bluetoothに新しい高速転送モードHDT PHY登場

Bluetooth SIGが新しい高速化オプション(HDT)のデモを公開しています。
オプションというのは上位層でいうプロファイルではなく、下位層のデバイスの転送モードみたいなものです。
現行のオプションの一つ2M PHY(1.4Mbps、実効速度？)では16秒かかるMP3ファイルの転送が、次期機能のHDT PHY(7.5Mbps)では3-4秒で済んでます。
